The Alter Wirt in Grünwald is a unique setting for your meetings or seminars. Benefit from our long-standing experience, our all-round, hassle-free service and the fantastic location. The Alter Wirt is set in idyllic countryside, just beyond the gates of Munich but close to the city centre, with excellent transport links and a short commute by tram or train to the airport. In addition, we have our own extensive car park and underground garage directly adjacent to the hotel. Let the evening draw to a close in good company over a barbeque in the apple orchard, a gourmet menu in one of our lounges or in our contemporary restaurant area. And, of course, you can enjoy an excellent night’s sleep with us. The Alter Wirt offers 50 rooms renovated using sustainable and renewable building materials and specifically caters to conference delegates. Start the day in the best of moods, sustained with a healthy breakfast from our organic breakfast buffet.

An exceptional conference space in the Munich countryside! The Alter Wirt comprises three unique, bright and cheery conference rooms, where not only the ambience but everything else is just right. You can look forward to perfect organisation, state-of-the-art presentation facilities, fast Wi-Fi, outstanding organic cuisine and excellent service.
Weather permitting, you’re also welcome to hold your conference outdoors in the apple orchard. We’ll organise everything else that you’ll need for a successful conference.

The "apple orchard"

During summer, this makes for an exceptional additional “group space” or is ideal for the barbecue buffet after the event.

Our rooms can be rearranged to accommodate any other seating plans (panel, block, u-shaped, plenary, rows). Please note that the stated number of people can only be achieved through optimised seating plans.

Prices and Standard Conference Rates

There are various conference and group rooms available at the Alter Wirt. Hire rates range from €95 to €450 per day. The hire charge for the main room will be waived for groups of 10 or more if booked in conjunction with one of the following standard conference rates.

You can also hire all necessary devices and conferencing equipment for us at cost-effective rates: projector, flipchart, pinboard, TV, DVD player etc.

The Xaver conference package

75,— € per person

  • Conference room with standard conference equipment
  • Unlimited vitalised water (still and sparkling), apple juice or soft drinks served in the conference room
  • Welcome coffee with pretzels
  • Morning vitamin break with tea/coffee, soft drinks, fruits and a snack
  • Light 2-course lunch including vitalised water and apple juice followed by espresso and a piece of chocolate cake
  • Afternoon energy break with tea/coffee, soft drinks, yoghurt with fruit and nuts

The Theresa conference package

67,— € per person

  • Conference room with standard conference equipment
  • Unlimited vitalised water (still and sparkling) in the conference room
  • Morning vitamin break with tea/coffee, soft drinks, fruit and a snack
  • 3-course “vitality” lunch including apple juice and vitalised water
  • Afternoon energy break with tea/coffee, a soft drink and two snacks

The Jakob conference package

49,— € per person

  • Conference room with standard conference equipment
  • Unlimited vitalised water (still and sparkling) in the conference room
  • Morning vitamin break with tea/coffee, soft drink and fruits
  • Light 2-course lunch including vitalised water
  • Afternoon energy break with tea/coffee, a soft drink and one snack

Our standard conference equipment includes a projector (with HDMI and VGA connection) and screen, a flipchart (pens and 10 sheets), a pinboard with presenter materials, pencils and memo pads as well as Wi-Fi.
