Check-in
We are happy to welcome you on the day of your arrival after 3 p.m. If you would like to Check-in before that time, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will find a solution.

If you will arrive after 10 p.m. please let us know on the day of your arrival, so that we can give you a 4 digit code for our “Keyboy”. With this key you can enter the Hotel during the whole night.

Check-out
We kindly ask you to leave your room before 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. Please inform the reception in case of checking-out later. If you’re planning to check-out before 6 a.m. please pay your bill on the night before your departure date. In case of changes for your reservation, please let us know.

We accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and EC/maestro.
If you still have some duties to run, we would be happy to take care of your luggage.

Room key
Please take your room key with you when leaving the hotel and maybe come back late.
Your room key also opens the main entrance, which is closed after 10 p.m.

Breakfast
We serve our breakfast buffet
Monday – Friday                                       from         6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, Sunday and on holidays            from         7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

If you would like to have breakfast later, we serve a small selection on demand.
Instead or in addition (extra charge) to the breakfast you can also order a small lunch box.

We also serve breakfast as room service. Please fill out the form, which you will in your room and hand it over to the reception on the day before.

We do not only serve our breakfast to Hotel guests. If you’re interested just take a look into our menu or ask us.

Restaurant
After breakfast the restaurant is open from 12 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. during which we serve warm meals the whole time. Of course you can stay and have a drink and some snacks after 9:00 p.m.

In addition to our normal menu and our drinks we also offer our daily recommendations.
If you would like to reserve a table please just dial the 940 or you may book a table online on quandoo.

Roomservice
We serve food and drinks from 6:30 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. to your room without service charge. For any requests do not hesitate to contact our service team “940” at regular opening hours.

Minibar
Due to our organic and ecological way of thinking we do not have refrigerators in our rooms. Nevertheless you can find a small selection of drinks in your room. If you would like to have something else or cold beverages to your room, feel free to dial the “940”, without any service charge.

Breakfast
Any information regarding the breakfast you can find in the beginning of this folder.
To order breakfast to your room, you can find the form to complete in your room.

Wine selling
You can buy one of our nice Wines from our menu, for yourself or as a present, for half the price.
We choose our Wines with care and know all of our winemakers personally.

Changing bedding and towels
You prefer fresh towels and fresh bed linens every day? Just inform us at the reception and we will be glad to follow your wishes. Towels on the floor are being changed automatically, bed linens every 3 days. Please consider your environmental responsibility.

Soap, shower gel, shampoo & amenities
Our dispenser next to the sink is filled with Sonett’s “hand soap citrus” and the dispenser in the shower is filled with miila mi’s “hair & body” (which has the highest standard on the market with 95 % organic contents), which is also suitable for hair care. If you forgot any amenities, you can buy them at the reception.

Pillow & blanket
If you would prefer a different pillow or just an extra one – just ask us as we have a lot of different pillows which you can choose from: soft pillows with 100 % goose feathers class 1, medium soft pillows with new Merino wool-balls and soft anti-allergic pillows with polyether sticks. Furthermore we have some special pillows with millet husks, spelt husks, stone pine wood flakes and one LokraDesign orthopedic neck pillow.
If you would prefer a different or an extra blanket as well, we would be happy to provide it for you. Of course you can choose between different types as well; a thin or a thicker one, a blanket filled with feathers or with Merino.

Baby Equipment
If you need a crib, changing set, an changing pad or an high chair just inform us. We will bring it to your room.

Wall heater
If you can’t see a regular heater in your room, you have a room with a wall heater. You can regulate it on the thermostat just like a normal heater, it radiates the heat out of the walls.

Smoking in non-smoking rooms
We are a non-smoking hotel. Please do not smoke in the rooms. In case of violation we charge 150 € for special cleaning. In the rooms which have a balcony you can smoke outside with a closed balcony door. For further questions please do not hesitate to ask us.

Internet
In our Hotel you can access our Hotspot “Alter Wirt” free of charge. The password is “internet”
(case sensitive). Some rooms have internet-plugs. For information or lending a cable call the reception “940”.

Safe
If you have any valuable objects which you would like us to lock into our safe, please do not hesitate to ask us.

Alarm clock
You can program the telephone for a wakeup call: *55 and follow the instructions.
Of course we can also give you a wakeup call in the morning, please ask the reception on the day before.

Ironing Set
Do you want to iron your clothes by yourself and free of charge? We offer to bring the ironing set to your room. In case of other requests we pick it up from your room – at least on the following day. Please notice our information on the separate sheet at the ironing board.

Parking
Behind the house we have a big parking lot, we kindly ask you not to park in the delivery zone as well as in the passage to the rear part.

Furthermore we have an underground garage which you can use free of charge. The entrance gate is on the left next to our terrace. Just ring the bell in front of the gate and drive in slowly, we also ask you kindly to park in your car forwards.

Newspaper
In our main room and at our reception you can find a selection of newspapers and magazines.

Nordic-Walking-sticks
If you want to discover the surrounding areas we can lend you Nordic-Walking-sticks and a map of the environment.

Taxi
We can arrange a taxi for you, normally it takes less than 10 minutes. During fair trades or other events in the city we recommend you to reserve a taxi in advance.

A drive to the Airport takes about 1 hour and costs about 90 €.

Laundry Service
Please use the laundry bag in your room and bring it to the reception before 9:00 a.m. with the completed form, which you will find on the following page. You will receive your laundry within 9 hours.

Dogs
In our hotel you can take your dog with you in your room as well as to the restaurant, although we kindly ask you to always keep the dog on the leash in the house. We charge 9 € per dog and night. If you need a bowl, dog fouling bag or tips for walking paths just ask at the reception desk.

e-cars
To charge your car in our garage, check the rates at the reception.

Bicycle rental
We can order rental bikes for you which will be delivered here, please come to the reception desk for further information.

If you just have to repair your bike we also have supplies for you at the reception desk.
The best place to leave your bike is in our garage.

Things to lend
At the reception desk you can find following things which you can borrow: Umbrellas, bathrobes, cots, slippers, shower seat, hot water bottles, extra electric heaters, fans, loudspeaker*, powerbank/charger*, adapter*, etc.

Garden
Behind the house you find our apple-garden. Here you can read, relax, do Yoga or whatever you want.

Shoe polishing service
We have a shoe polish machine on the way to our garage on the ground floor. Furthermore we have cleaning utensils which you can borrow at the reception desk.

Sewing service
You lost a button or need needle and thread? Feel free to ask us.

Telephone
To call to a different room please dial the “5” first and then the requested room number. Calls which are made in house are free of charge.

Please dial “0” to get an outside line. Calls made to a German land line are free of charge. Calls made to cell phones and to foreign countries cost 2 € for the first minute and for every following minute 1 €. To call a service number please come to the reception desk.

Public Transportation
The station “Derbolfinger Platz” of Tram No. 25 is a five minutes walk from the hotel.
Day-tickets and time tables are available at the reception desk. You can also use the App
“MVG Fahrinfo” on which you can find all of the maps and you can also buy your tickets.

Even during the night there is a special transportation – just ask us for more information.

Organic bakery “BrotZeit”
In our house you can find a lovely bakery which provides us with fresh bakery products every day. Take a look inside, you won’t regret it.

Grünwald leisure park “Freizeitpark Grünwald”
Near to the hotel you can find the leisure park with a swimming pool, sauna and a fitness area. Opening hours, prices and further information you can find at the reception desk.

ElterSports – Fitness center Grünwald
Our hotel guests receive a reduced daily entrance fee in the fitness center “Elter sports”.

Forest experience path
Taking a walk in the forest you can learn a lot about it as well as the animals and the plants. You can find a fenced area in which you can observe boars in their natural habitat, if you’re lucky you even see the daily feeding.

Climbing park “Kletterwald Grünwald”
Near to the hotel we have a climbing park in which you can see the forest from an exceptional perspective.

Fort Grünwald “Burg Grünwald”
Just some steps away you can visit the “Burg Grünwald” with museum and tower terrace to look towards the mountains.

Bavaria Filmstadt
To take a look behind the scenery of the Bavaria Studios, in the famous Munich “Movie-City” located in Geiselgasteig, north of Grünwald. You can find glitter, glamour, stars and starlets. You can admire the stunt shows and visit the 4D Cinema.

Isar
Just around the corner from the hotel you can find the Isar River which flows out of the Karwendel in the mountains with a length of 292 km into the Danube. It’s perfect to go rafting, talk a nice walk, swimming and just to relax.
